Overview
“I keep choosing AGC for my outdoor adventures because of the variety and value of trips, personable and experienced guides, and the fact that everything is so well planned out FOR me (leaving me free to just plan HOW to enjoy the trip from my perspective - like how much film to bring along!). I tell people that these trips have taken me beyond just gorgeous outdoor settings and thrilling adventures. Traveling with a group of women on an outdoor adventure is the most completely unintimidating, supportive way to experience the outdoors. We meet as strangers. We part as friends! I always come back more confident in myself, having learned some life-lessons in the midst of the adventures.” Alena Hagedorn, Ohio who has been on 5 AGC trips
Adventures in Good Company offers adventure travel for women of all ages. With over 40 trips a year, they are an excellent choice for the woman just discovering (or rediscovering) her adventurous self and her love for being active in the outdoors. Adventures in Good Company also offers trips for the experienced adventurer who wants to visit new places or challenge herself in new ways. Adventures in Good Company strongly believes that we never regret the things we try, but the things we want to try and never do.
On some trips, Adventures in Good Company focuses on the activity: hiking, sea kayaking, dog sledding, paddling, backpacking, rock climbing and whitewater rafting. On these trips the guide will teach you everything you need to know to stay safe and have fun. On other trips the destination is equally important: Tuscany, Mt Blanc, Kilimanjaro, Bulgaria, or Nepal. On both kinds of trips the guides will acquaint you with the natural and cultural history of the area and show you the sights you would never see on your own. And beyond the place or the activity, it is often the camaraderie women share when they are away from their daily lives that is the most treasured memory.
