Nepal Trekking in the Himalayas - Annapurna Lodge Trek to the “Gates of Heaven”
Through the years, AdventureWomen has developed the ideal Nepal trekking trip for women. Their Nepalese adventure travel trip has been carefully designed to include a comfortable, and less physically challenging Nepal trekking route at a lower altitude - 7,500 feet instead of at 14,000!
AdventureWomen’s trekking trip in Nepal is perfect for women who want to experience the splendor of hiking in the awe-inspiring Himalayan mountain range, whose name, in Sanskrit, means “abode of snow”. This Nepal trekking adventure in the Himalayas features verdant valleys, ancient villages, fascinating Nepalese culture, and the friendly people of Nepal.
AdventureWomen’s Nepal trek in the Annapurna foothills is a lodge-based adventure instead of a camping trip, allowing for an easier pace and less impact on trails from porters and pack animals. The Nepal lodges are of modern construction in a traditional style. All have private rooms with en-suite bathrooms and offer excellent local Nepalese cuisine. After all, you should stay in style when visiting the top of the world!
Also included in AdventureWomen’s Nepal adventure travel trip is an additional two-day rafting excursion on the lush Seti River and a wildlife viewing safari. You ride elephants through Royal Chitwan National Park, the world’s finest Bengal Tiger habitat. And, you explore Kathmandu’s ancient city of Bhaktapur and the Buddhist Temple Complex of Boudhanath.
AdventureWomen’s Nepal trekking adventure is a unique combination of hiking, cultural interaction, rafting, and getting to know Nepal’s southern Terai country. You can have it all on this 16-day odyssey on foot through the highlights of this fascinating destination in Asia!
