From a Private Game Reserve in South Africa to Botswana’s Chobe National Park and Victoria Falls A Botswana and South Africa wildlife safari shows you how to experience the region of Southern Africa the way you've always imagined it to be – wild and free. AdventureWomen’s African safari in both South Africa and Botswana offers everything from “hands on” experiences to “wild” Africa — a variety of activities that keep you in awe. As an exciting finale to your custom-designed wildlife viewing safari in Africa, you also visit the mighty Zambezi River as it cascades over thundering Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Botswana is home to the pristine Chobe National Park, a protected area in Northern Botswana that offers incredible wildlife viewing of African safari animals. Famous for its large water buffalo and elephant herds, Chobe National Park is where the Kwando, Linyanti, and Chobe river systems form a series of lakes, islands, and floodplains — a beautiful and prolific water oasis in Botswana. From a very large variety of predators and a myriad of other animal species, there is also a profusion of wild African game and bird life that decorates these beautiful waterways. The African safari lodge is at the entrance to Chobe National Park, and from here, experience the best of what a Botswana safari has to offer: morning and evening 4x4 game drives, game viewing by riverboat, an afternoon cultural walk to a Namibian village, and deluxe safari accommodations at the lodge.
South Africa’s Eastern Cape combines a wild combination of unrivalled splendor and stark contrasts, which very few places in the world can rival. During our safari in South Africa, on AdventureWomen’s own private game reserve with wonderful chalet accommodations, you have the opportunity to view a wide selection of African game living within the 2,500 acres of this private concession area along the Kubusi River. Walking safaris, 4x4 game drives, night safari drives, bird walks, special visits to a local school and a family cattle farm, and a fascinating day in the field with a “big game” vet are some highlights of this part of your South Africa safari. You also visit a “Lion Park”, a commercial breeding facility that often has lion cubs that are allowed to be cuddled.
This unique South Africa and Botswana safari, to one of Africa’s most stable regions, features wonderful accommodations in South Africa, Botswana, and Victoria Falls, all with private en-suite facilities and modern amenities. You are pampered with first-rate staff that provides personalized service and prepares fabulous meals. African guides and trackers take you on safari game drives in open-top 4x4 vehicles, on bush walks, by power boat, and through meandering waterways and private reserves, for phenomenal birding and game viewing.
