Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Arrive at the Lake Mc Donald Lodge in Glacier National Park where you will meet your guides for an orientation and suggestions for tonight’s dinner options.
Day 2: Highline Trail and Going to the Sun Highway Travel to Logan Pass to hike a section of the famous Highline Trail. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a setting perfect for wildflower enthusiasts and watch for bighorn sheep and mountain goats. Then, drive the spectacular and world-famous “Going to the Sun Highway” to Many Glacier Hotel, located in the “Switzerland of North America” and your home for the next three nights.
Day 3: Hike to Grinnell Glacier Hike from Many Glacier Hotel to the base of Grinnell Glacier, one of the largest remaining glaciers in the park, and the turquoise pool of Grinnell Lake. Return to the Many Glacier Hotel for a three-course dinner in the historic dining room.
Day 4: Waterton International Peace Park Today, travel to the north end of Glacier National Park and over the International boundary into Canada’s Waterton International Peace Park. Then, board a boat and cruise from Canada into Goat Haunt, U.S.A. for a light day of trail exploration. Eat dinner in Waterton before returning to the Many Glacier Hotel.
Day 5: Two Medicine Valley This morning, journey to the lesser traveled southeast corner of Glacier Park to hike in the Two Medicine Valley. Stay in East Glacier at the historic headliner hotel, Glacier Park Lodge, located at the base of spectacular glaciated peaks.
Day 6: Whitewater Rafting and Whitefish Lake Drive back to West Glacier for an exciting guided whitewater raft trip on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Enjoy a morning float followed by an afternoon of exhilarating rapids. Then, head to Whitefish for a picnic dinner on the shores of Whitefish Lake. Stay at the beautiful Rocky Mountain Lodge in Whitefish.
Day 7: Departure Departure – complimentary breakfast and shuttle service to the airport are included.
