Overview
Imagine taking a trip with other women who are just as excited and interested in travel as you are - the fun, the laughter, the new friendships, and the unforgettable memories - it sure beats staying at home! For ten years, Women Traveling Together (WTT) has provided the perfect solution for women who want to travel but don’t want to travel alone.
Why Women Traveling Together? - Guaranteed room share for those who want it.
- Small group size, usually between 10-15 women.
- Expert Tour Leader on every trip who is not only an experienced traveler but also trained in group dynamics.
- Option to earn “WTT Travel Dollars” good towards another trip every time you travel with WTT.
- Detailed “Traveler’s Information Packet” so you can “meet” your roommate and traveling companions before you travel.
- Online and print newsletters offering valuable tips and information exclusively for the woman traveler.
- So many repeat travelers, WTT began a “4 or More Trips with WTT” Recognition Program.
WTT's Trademark - A Variety of Tours with Innovative Itineraries Each year, WTT chooses destinations and custom designs itineraries based on input from a survey of over 8000 women travelers. They strive for a balance between experiencing the major highlights of a destination and taking a more personal, up close look. They also strike a balance between planned activities and free time so you have the opportunity to do some exploring on your own or with others in the group.
WTT offers tours for every interest and activity level ranging from Long Weekend Getaways to Spa Retreats to Adventure Travel and more. Their 30+ tours per year cover destinations in the U.S. and around the world.
WTT's Pledge: Outstanding Value The tour price includes a lot more that lodging and sightseeing. WTT prices typically include dinners (you often order off the menu!) and breakfast daily, admission to all activities, parks, museums, etc. on the itinerary, lodging in three and four-star hotels based on two persons sharing a room, "Meet and Greet" at the airport by the WTT tour leader, airport transfers and transportation, services of the WTT tour leader throughout the tour and local guides, AND a guaranteed room share.
Travel Philosophy WTT believes that travel is not only fun and relaxing it also means personal growth. Truthfully though, they’re not for everyone.
If you are looking for a "bargain basement tour", WTT is not for you. Women who travel with WTT recognize the value for the money their custom designed tours offer.
If you want to blend into the crowd, WTT is not for you. Since the average group size is 10 to 15 women, you’ll know everyone's name within minutes of meeting. WTT believes that one of the greatest benefits to small group travel is the new friendships developed between women travelers.
If you want to be on a bus with an assigned seat, don’t like exploring past the souvenir stand, and want to shop 'till you drop, WTT is not for you. Their tours concentrate on getting to know the area and the people you are visiting, with planned activities giving you the best flavor and feel of the destination. You’ll have plenty of time to shop, but it’s not the focus.
